Trust & Safety

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Our commitment to a safe, fair, and transparent preparation platform.

At OA Helper, trust is the foundation of everything we build. Thousands of students across India rely on our platform to prepare for online assessments, placements, and interviews. We take this responsibility seriously, and this page outlines the policies, safeguards, and standards we have put in place to protect our users, our contributors, and the integrity of the ecosystem we operate.

This Trust & Safety document should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Together, they define how we operate, how we treat your data, and what you can expect from us.

Our Trust Principles

Every product and policy decision at OA Helper is guided by a small set of principles:

  • Transparency — users should clearly understand what they are paying for, what data we collect, and how the platform works.
  • User-first design — placements are high-stakes for students, and our features should reduce anxiety, not add to it.
  • Community integrity — contributed content must remain authentic, relevant, and free from manipulation.
  • Security by default — accounts, payments, and personal data are protected through industry-standard controls.
  • Accountability — when something goes wrong, we respond quickly, honestly, and with a clear path to resolution.

Content Authenticity & Moderation

OA Helper hosts a large volume of user-contributed content — including company-specific online assessment questions, interview experiences, and placement insights. To maintain the quality and trustworthiness of this content, every submission is subject to review before it is made available to the wider community.

Our moderation workflow includes:

  • Automated checks for duplicates, spam, low-quality text, and prohibited content;
  • Manual verification by our content review team against format, relevance, and plausibility standards;
  • Cross-referencing recent submissions from multiple users to identify authentic, recurring patterns;
  • Ongoing audits to retire outdated content and surface the most relevant, up-to-date questions.

Content that is fabricated, plagiarised, misleading, or submitted in violation of a third-party confidentiality obligation (such as an employer NDA) is rejected and may result in the contributor losing OA Coins, access privileges, or their account.

Account Security

Your account is protected through a combination of verified sign-in, session controls, and monitoring for unusual activity. We strongly recommend that you:

  • Use a unique, strong password and do not reuse it on other services;
  • Keep your registered email address and mobile number up to date so we can reach you for verification or recovery;
  • Sign out from shared or public devices after each session;
  • Never share your login credentials, OTPs, or subscription access with anyone else.

If we detect suspicious activity on your account — such as unusual sign-in locations, rapid access from multiple devices, or automated behaviour — we may temporarily suspend access, request a password reset, or require additional verification to keep your account safe.

Data Protection & Privacy

We collect only the information we genuinely need to operate the platform: your name, email, institution, batch year, activity on the platform, and payment details for paid subscriptions. This data is stored on secure infrastructure with access restricted to authorised personnel.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Where we use trusted vendors for hosting, analytics, communications, or payments, they are bound by contractual obligations to handle your data only for the purposes we specify. For a full breakdown of what we collect and why, please review our Privacy Policy.

Payments & Subscriptions

All payments for premium plans are processed through established, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. OA Helper does not store your full card number, CVV, or UPI credentials on our servers. Subscription prices, billing cycles, and included features are clearly disclosed on the checkout page before any charge is made.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, or if a payment fails to reflect on your account, please contact our support team with your transaction reference, and we will investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Fair Use & Platform Integrity

To keep the platform useful for every student, we actively discourage behaviour that degrades the experience for others. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts to farm OA Coins, referrals, or premium benefits;
  • Scraping, republishing, or commercially redistributing content hosted on OA Helper;
  • Bypassing paywalls or sharing paid content with non-subscribers;
  • Submitting fabricated questions, fake interview experiences, or misleading company data;
  • Harassing, defaming, or impersonating other users, recruiters, or companies;
  • Using bots, automation tools, or reverse-engineered clients to access the platform.

Confirmed violations may result in removal of content, deduction of OA Coins, suspension of premium access, or permanent termination of the account, depending on severity.

Reporting Abuse or Inappropriate Content

If you come across content on OA Helper that you believe is inaccurate, infringing, offensive, or unsafe, please report it to us. We treat every report seriously and investigate it against our content and community standards.

You can report concerns by:

  • Using the in-product report option available on most content pages;
  • Emailing support@oahelper.in with a link to the content and a short description of the issue;
  • Reaching out to our Grievance Officer listed at the bottom of this page for unresolved or sensitive matters.

Responsible Disclosure

We welcome responsible reports from security researchers and users who identify vulnerabilities in our platform. If you discover a security issue, please report it directly to support@oahelper.in with enough detail for us to reproduce and validate the issue.

We ask researchers to avoid accessing or modifying user data, to refrain from publicly disclosing the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it, and to act in good faith. In return, we commit to acknowledging your report, investigating promptly, and keeping you informed through resolution.

What We Do Not Promise

Honesty is part of trust. OA Helper is a preparation platform — not an admissions, hiring, or placement authority. We do not:

  • Guarantee job offers, interview calls, or placement outcomes;
  • Claim official affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with the companies whose questions are discussed on the platform;
  • Represent that every contributed question will appear in a future assessment.

What we do commit to is a well-maintained, community-driven preparation experience that reflects current hiring patterns as accurately as we can verify.

Changes to This Document

We may update this Trust & Safety page from time to time as our platform, community, and policies evolve. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of the page, and where appropriate, we will notify active users by email or in-product messaging.
