Experience:

Hughes Systique visited ABES Engineering College for on-campus placements. The overall difficulty was rated Easy-Medium.

Round 1: Online Test
This round was conducted on the HackerRank platform and comprised three sections: Aptitude (20 MCQs), Computer Concepts (20 MCQs), and Programming (2 questions). The questions were of Easy-Medium difficulty.

Round 2: Technical Interview Round-1
The interviewer started with "Tell me about yourself." The candidate mentioned OS, DBMS, and DSA as favorite subjects. Questions included:

• Operating Systems: What is Deadlock? Techniques to handle deadlock with examples.
• DBMS: What is Normalization and Denormalization? Types of Normal forms. Types of Languages (DDL, DML, DCL).
• DSA: Types of Sorting, their procedure and complexities. Implement queue using linked list (coding question). Types of Algorithms you have done.
• C/C++: Difference between call by value and call by reference using a swap example. Difference between malloc() and calloc().
• 2-3 questions were based on the projects mentioned in the resume.

Round 3: Technical Interview Round-2 + HR
The candidate's introduction mentioned PWAs, leading to a 15-minute discussion on the topic. A detailed 25-30 minute discussion followed on all projects, covering tech stack, database models, etc. Finally, one HR question was asked: "Where do you see yourself after 3 years?"

Tips: The candidate advised knowing every word of your resume as the whole interview will revolve around it.
