Experience:

This experience details the recruitment process for a Software Engineer Telecom role, with the application in December 2024 and interviews in January 2025.

Round 0: Resume Shortlisting: Shortlisting was based on academic performance (80% in 10th and 12th, 9 CGPA in B.Tech) and branch (CSE/ECE).

Round 1: Online Test (Virtual): Conducted on Hackerrank for 3 hours. It included two coding questions and several MCQs. The first coding question was "Maximal Score After Applying K Operations" (LeetCode Hard). The second coding question involved finding the maximum sum within a path in a graph, considering cycles, which the candidate solved using DFS. MCQs were from Aptitude, DSA & Basics of Software Engineering, OS, Networking, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, Distributed Systems, DevOps, Database, C Programming, and C++ Programming, and were described as "very hard".

Round 2: Technical Round (Virtual): After introductions and a 360-degree rotation to avoid plagiarism, the interviewer started with coding questions that the candidate had to write on Notepad. Questions included: Linked List Cycle, Linked List Cycle II, Merge Sorted Array, and Climbing Stairs (all LeetCode problems). A problem requiring the Round-Robin algorithm was also given. SQL queries were asked to find the maximum and minimum salary of employees and their department. DML, DDL, and Normalization concepts were discussed, including normalizing a given table. The round lasted 75 minutes.

Round 3: Managerial Round (Virtual): The candidate received an email for this round on the same day. After introductions, the interviewer asked about the candidate's projects, and a running project was demonstrated.
