HP Inc. visited the campus in December 2023 for recruitment of freshers passing out in 2024 for an internship plus performance-based full-time conversion. The process had 4 rounds.

Round 1 (Online test - 75 mins): Conducted on the Hire Pro platform, this round consisted of MCQ questions and two coding questions. MCQs covered aptitude (probability, ratio and proportions, interest, profit and loss, time and work, age problems, logical reasoning, basic mathematics), logical, C output questions, data structures and algorithms, English language, and technical portions (C, Data Structures And Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Cloud Computing). The two coding questions were of medium difficulty, with options for C/C++/Java/Python.

Round 2 (Technical Interview - 30-45 mins): This round focused on the candidate's resume and technical background, described as a medium-level difficulty. The interviewer was friendly. Questions included: "Tell me about yourself," programming languages known, difference between Java and C, writing and explaining a circular linked list program, pointers, Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, memory leak (including writing a program for dynamic memory allocation), writing a C program to convert a string to a number, ACID properties of DBMS, and what a deadlock is.

Round 3 (Managerial Interview - 20-30 mins): Started with "Tell me about yourself." Then, questions from the resume (excluding technical parts) like interests, hobbies, extra-curricular activities. The candidate had to explain projects thoroughly, including SDLC phases, parents' occupation, "Why do you want to join HP?", "Why should we hire you?", weaknesses, and challenges faced in projects.

Round 4 (HR Round - 10-20 mins): This was a general HR interview. Questions included: "Tell me about yourself," and other general HR questions.
