HCL Technologies visited the college in August 2022 for the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) position.

Round 1: Online Assessment (HackerRank)
This round had 42 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. It included 40 questions on aptitude, computer basics, and pseudo-code. There were also 2 coding questions (C/C++ with options).

• Coding Question 1: Check if a given number is prime or not; return 1 if prime or return its lowest divisor.
• Coding Question 2: On the array concept, to check if the elements of the arrays can be made equal using multiple operations.

Round 2: Technical Round (one-on-one)
This round lasted approximately 30 minutes. Questions were mostly based on the resume, basic computer fundamental questions, and a basic pattern printing question. Discussions also revolved around projects mentioned in the resume and challenges faced during them.

Round 3: HR Round (online)
This round lasted around 10 minutes. The HR asked common personality test questions, such as "Why HCL?", "Are you willing to work if selected?", "Are you willing to relocate to any city pan India?", and "Tell me about your project, and the challenges faced during the project."

An offer letter was provided after the successful completion of these rounds.
