Selection Procedure: Graviton visited the campus for Software and Quant roles and conducted tests for shortlisting. The candidate appeared for the Software test.

Online Test: The test consisted of two coding questions and around 4-5 theoretical questions. The coding questions were described as medium-hard, and the candidate solved them fully. The theoretical questions covered concepts from OS, DBMS, Networks, and Computer Architecture, requiring written steps. The candidate solved a good amount of these theoretical questions, leading to a shortlist for the placement interview.

Interview: The interviewer primarily asked questions about C++ and operating systems. The candidate was informed that their performance in the coding test was satisfactory. Graviton's selection process was holistic, considering GPA, C++ concepts, and previous internship experience. Graviton Research, being a high-frequency trading firm, looks for low-level coding skills, and candidates can expect questions from C++, operating systems, computer networks, and computer architecture.
