Experience:

This interview experience for a Software Trainee role at GlobalLogic was an on-campus drive. The process included an online test, a technical interview, a managerial interview, and an HR interview.

Round 1: Online Test
Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes. Consisted of 40 MCQs and 4 coding questions. MCQs included current affairs (first five questions), aptitude (average, profit and loss, data interpretation), and technical questions (pseudo code of C++ and Java with output). The pseudo code questions were easy. Coding questions were described as easy to a little difficult.

Coding Questions Mentioned:

• Reverse a string (very easy).
• Array and magic value.
• Nearest to zero sum: Given an array, print the sum of values nearest to zero.

Around 35-40 students were shortlisted from approximately 200+ students from computer science, information science, electrical, electronics, and instrumentation branches.

Round 2: Technical Interview
Conducted on December 20th or 25th (2021).

• Introduce yourself.
• Which programming language are you comfortable with? (Candidate stated C).
• Write a prime number program on an online compiler.
• Construct left and right subtrees using any data structures given a number of array elements (using C language).

Round 3: Managerial Interview
Conducted on the same day as the technical interview. Out of nine people, eight were shortlisted for the HR interview, indicating a high selection rate in this round.

Round 4: HR Interview
Conducted after 2-3 days, around December 27th. This round was short (5-6 minutes) and not complicated. All shortlisted candidates from the previous round were selected.
