Experience:

Genpact conducted an on-campus drive at the candidate's college, offering roles such as Consultant Java Developer, Management Trainee, and Testing. The process began with a pre-placement talk covering the organization, technology, hiring process, and exam pattern.

Round 1: Technical Assessment (Online, 60 minutes)
This round consisted of 30 questions, including 29 MCQs and 1 coding question. Topics covered Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Pseudo Code, DBMS, Java, OOPs, Data Structures, and Operating Systems. The difficulty was Easy to Medium, with no negative marking. This was an elimination round.

Round 2: Technical Interview (30 minutes, Easy to Moderate)
Upon clearing the online assessment, the candidate received an email for a technical interview. This was also an elimination round. Questions included:

  • Introduction.
  • Discussion on projects.
  • "What is OOPs? What are the Pillars of OOPs? Explain with a real-life example."

Round 3: HR Interview
After clearing the technical interview, the candidate proceeded to the HR round. Questions asked were:

  • "Do you want to go for further studies?"
  • "Why are you interested in Genpact? Any specific reason?"
The result was declared after two days, and the candidate was selected for the Java Developer profile.
