Experience:

This candidate interviewed for a Senior Analyst C# .NET role. The process included an Online Assessment (OA) and two subsequent interview rounds, with a potential third in-person round at their Gurgaon office.

The OA involved writing a SQL query based on certain conditions, an LLD question to be completed in C#, and one LeetCode medium-level Data Structures and Algorithms question.

Round 1 lasted 30 minutes and focused on questions related to SQL, C#, ASP.NET, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and various design patterns.

Round 2 was heavily focused on SQL. The candidate was provided with a complete dataset and asked to write 5-6 SQL queries, including some questions specifically about improving the performance of SQL queries. The candidate noted that they were not very proficient in SQL, and this part did not go well.

Additionally, the interview involved being shown a C# code snippet and asked to identify bugs, followed by a coding task to complete in Visual Studio. The interviewers were reportedly very particular about coding standards and best practices.
