Round 1: Online Coding Interview (Duration: 105 minutes)

This round consisted of 3 coding problems. One was a Graph data-based problem. Two were technical questions where examples were shown first, and then the questions were given. The candidate found the numerical and aptitude tests in the initial online assessment to be "really difficult to solve under time constraint" and "not like the typical maths questions."

Round 2: Node JS Round (Duration: 30 minutes)

This round included 1 coding problem. The interviewer was a backend developer, and questions mainly focused on backend topics, which was not the candidate's strongest area.

Specific questions asked included: "what process take place when you enter a site url in browser and how is it displayed on your screen" and "How do you optimise your website."

Round 3: HR Round (Duration: 30 minutes)

This round focused on HR and behavioral questions.

Overall Experience:

The candidate felt the company did not manage the role interviews well, as interviewers sometimes focused on their own expertise rather than the candidate's applied role. For instance, a backend developer interviewer focused heavily on backend questions even if the candidate applied for a software engineer role. Some friends of the candidate reportedly only faced behavioral questions and no technical ones. The process was perceived as "luck based."
