This EXL Services interview experience describes a virtual on-campus recruitment process in August 2022.

Round 1: Written MCQ-based test (on CoCubes)

  • 40 questions in 45 minutes.
  • Questions covered aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, computer science fundamentals, and pseudo codes.
  • There was negative marking (1 mark for correct, 0.25 negative).
  • 31 out of 210 students were selected for the next round.

Round 2: Technical Interview

  • Duration: 35 minutes.
  • The interviewer was described as "cool and friendly."
  • Questions included: "Tell me about yourself."
  • Discussion about the candidate's project and difficulties faced during it.
  • Fundamental questions on SQL.
  • Coding question: "Write a query to find the maximum salary in each department."
