Experience:

EPAM Systems visited the campus for internship roles for Java Developer and Test Automation Engineer. Eligibility criteria required 60% throughout academics. Top 20 students were shortlisted based on a DSA training program.

Round 1: Online Assessment (1 hour)
This round consisted of approximately 45 MCQ questions related to JAVA, Spring, SpringBoot, JSPs, and Servlets, including code snippets where candidates had to guess outputs. The cutoff was 70%. The assessment was conducted on Epam's platform with camera proctoring.

Round 2: Coding Assessment (2 days)
Candidates who cleared the first round received links for this round, which involved 5 tasks to be completed using Java. Problem statements and test cases were provided. Candidates had to push their code to GitLab and submit within two days. The candidate completed 4 out of 5 tasks. After about 10 days, 12 students were shortlisted for interviews.

Round 3: Technical Interview (April 27, 2023)
This was a one-on-one face-to-face interview. The interviewer started by asking for a self-introduction. The candidate was asked to rate themselves in Java out of 10 (responded 7-8). Questions covered the history of Java and all OOP concepts from Java.
