Experience:

The interview process for the Software Developer role at Dover consisted of four rounds, starting with an online test.

Round 1: Online Test
This round comprised 60 MCQ questions covering fundamental concepts of Operating Systems (OS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), pseudocode interpretation, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Round 2: Virtual Interview (Technical)
The interviewer focused on a DSA string question: "Given a string, if there's an underscore, remove it and capitalize the next character (e.g., Aryan_sharma to AryanSharma)." Another question involved permutation and combination: "Form a 6-letter word such that 2 letters are digits and the other 4 letters are alphabets; repetition is allowed." Two SQL queries were also asked, specifically "enter the data in MongoDB" and "find the name starting with 'ary'." Following these, there was a discussion about the candidate's project, including questions like "Which model did I use to make the project?" and "What happens if the user cannot find the data in the database, what will the express return in this condition?"

Round 3: Manager Round (Technical/DSA)
Despite being a manager round, a DSA problem was presented: "Given a string, perform basic functions like reverse the string." Further questions included "How can I find the ASCII value of a character in a string?" and "How can I convert char to int?" along with other basic string functions.

Round 4: HR Round
The final round focused on behavioral aspects. Questions included: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?", "Why do you want to work in this company?", and "What are your strengths and weaknesses?".
