The candidate, Anish De, received a referral and got a call from Dezerv, briefing him about the interview process.

The first stage was a 90-minute online test with two coding questions. He solved both in 15 minutes; one was ad-hoc and the other was a Dynamic Programming (DP) problem, both considered medium-hard difficulty.

The first real interview was a DSA/CP round, where he was given a binary search problem (difficulty range 1600-1700 on Codeforces). He solved it well within time, impressing the interviewer.

The second interview was a System Design round, where he had to design a Reminder Scheduling System. He felt it was a bit tricky and he didn't nail it, but the interviewer was supportive, acknowledging his potential despite having only six months of experience.

The final interview was a Cultural Fit round. The discussion revolved around the pros and cons of leaving a large company like Microsoft to join a Series A-funded startup. The conversation was transparent. Two hours later, he received a job offer for an SDE - Backend Role.
