Experience:

Deloitte USI visited the campus in August 2024 for the Analyst role. The recruitment process had three stages: Resume Shortlisting, Online Assessment, and Technical + HR Interview. Most applicants cleared the resume shortlisting.

The Online Assessment, conducted on the HirePro platform, lasted 90 minutes. It included timed sections on Analytical Ability, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Computer Science Fundamentals (OS, DBMS, Cloud Computing, SQL, pseudocode). There were also two coding questions (one easy, one medium). The candidate solved almost all MCQs and both coding questions. Out of 300 applicants, 49 were shortlisted.

The final stage was a combined Technical + HR Interview, lasting 30-50 minutes, preceded by a Pre-Placement Talk. The candidate's interview was entirely technical. It involved a detailed discussion about projects, a scenario-based question to suggest improvements for an autonomous parking system, basic SQL queries, and a LeetCode easy-level DSA problem on searching and sorting, where both brute force and optimized solutions were provided.
