Experience:

This interview experience for an SDE-1 role was an on-campus opportunity for a Computer Science Engineering student with an eligibility criterion of above 7 CGPA. The preparation involved dedicating 70% of time and effort to DSA, solving around 500 questions on platforms like GFG and LeetCode, and focusing on core CS subjects. Projects were also considered important, with advice to get hands-on experience in frontend, backend, and database.

The first round was an Online Coding Interview lasting 75 minutes, with a difficulty level rated as Hard, and included two coding problems. One of the coding questions was "Ways to express", which asked to find the number of ways to represent N as a sum of two or more consecutive natural numbers.

The second round was the Hiring Manager round. Questions were asked to assess the depth of the tech stack used in past projects and work done during internships. The round concluded with two quick DSA questions. Despite all rounds going pretty well, the candidate was ultimately rejected.
