This candidate applied through campus recruitment for a Software Engineer Trainee role.

Round 1 (Technical Interview - Video Call): Duration: 60 minutes. This round involved 4 coding problems. The difficulty was generally easy.

• Special Sum: Given an array `ARR` of length `N`, with two operations `FIRST_SUM(i)` (sum of first `i` numbers) and `LAST_SUM(i)` (sum of last `i` numbers).
• URL Shortener: Given a URL ID `N` consisting of only digits.
• Check If The String Is A Palindrome: Check if a string `S` is a palindrome, considering only alphabets and numbers, ignoring symbols and whitespaces. Example: S = “c1 O$d@eeD o1c” -> “c1odeedo1c” (palindrome).
• Rat In A Maze: Given a starting position for a rat (0,0) in a 2D maze.

Tips and Suggestions: Must do previously asked interview and online test questions. Go through all previous interview experiences from Codestudio and Leetcode. Have at least 2 good projects and know every bit of them. Focus on skills, projects, and experiences more.
