The candidate, Pooja Abasaheb Kate, from SVERI'S college of engineering Pandharpur, shared her experience of getting selected at Altimetrik.

Round 1 (Online Test): This round was conducted on January 3, 2022, for 90 minutes. It consisted of 38 questions across various sections: Numerical reasoning ability (12 questions, Easy to Medium difficulty), Logical reasoning ability (12 questions, Easy to Medium difficulty), Verbal reasoning ability (11 questions, Easy to Medium difficulty), and 3 Coding Questions (Medium to Hard difficulty). The candidate successfully solved two coding questions with all test cases passed and one with 3/6 test cases passed. Out of 120 students, only 4 were selected for interviews, highlighting a high elimination ratio.

Round 2 (Technical Interview 1): This round took place the day after the online test. The interviewer primarily focused on the candidate's resume, asking about academic projects and internship projects. The advice given was to include only those things in the resume on which one is confident.

Round 3 (Technical Interview 2): This was an elimination round where only two students were called. The interviewer posed a puzzle, which the candidate had not encountered before, but the interviewer was friendly and explained the scenario in Marathi. After 15 minutes of thinking, the candidate provided a solution that satisfied the interviewer. Following the puzzle, questions on Data Structures & Algorithms were asked, including the difference between a linked list and an array, their real-life examples, and the approach to delete a node from a linked list (not implementation). The candidate emphasized that honesty matters, even when unable to answer some questions.

Round 4 (HR Interview): Only one student, the candidate, was shortlisted for this round. It was described as a very easy and casual talk. Questions included whether the candidate attended the pre-placement talk, what they knew about Altimetrik, and finally, "Do you have any questions for me?" The candidate advised asking questions about training or the company during this opportunity.
