Experience:

This experience is for a Summer Analyst Intern position. Citi visited the campus in 2022, and the process took 3 days.

ROUND 1: Online Test: The test had 5 sections. Candidates could not navigate back to previous questions or switch between sections.

• **CS subjects' based MCQs:** Questions on stacks, queues, trees, searching, sorting techniques, Predict the Outputs (PTOs), basic programming questions, and OOPS.
• **Aptitude:** MCQs on topics like work and time, probability, permutations and combinations, percentages, ages, profit, loss. Speed was important.
• **Logical Reasoning:** Questions based on patterns and other logic-based concepts.
• **Verbal Reasoning:** Simple English-based questions like Antonyms, synonyms, prepositions, and passages.
• **Coding section:** Two questions of easy to medium level. Examples included finding the GCD of an array and finding the longest bitonic subsequence.

ROUND 2: Technical Interview: This round lasted about 40 to 45 minutes and was conducted on Zoom. The interviewer asked for an introduction, reviewed the resume, and then asked about projects. Questions were also posed on DBMS (queries on tables, joins) and Operating Systems (deadlocks and basic Linux commands).

ROUND 3: HR Interview: This interview happened almost an hour after the technical interview. After introductions, basic questions about projects were asked. The interviewer then presented various hypothetical situations in the corporate world, such as how to resolve a team conflict if the candidate were the team leader. Other questions included the importance of work-life balance.

The candidate was selected after this round.
