Experience:

The candidate interviewed for an internship position in the ICG division. The process began with an online assessment consisting of MCQs on aptitude, Spring framework, Angular, and data structures, along with two coding questions of easy to medium difficulty.

The interviews were conducted offline and comprised three rounds.

First Interview - Technical Round: This round was purely technical. The interviewer asked for a self-introduction and a thorough overview of the candidate's projects and experiences. Questions included HTML form validations, SQL queries (covering joins and aggregate functions), and differentiating between encapsulation and abstraction using real-life examples.

Second Interview - Technical and HR Combined: This round involved a mix of technical and HR questions. The candidate was asked to describe themselves from a perspective other than what was on their resume. Technical questions focused on Java-related inquiries and database concepts, including DDL, DCL, and DML commands, and the differences between "truncate," "delete," and "drop" commands. The conversation also covered online transactions and the significance of UPI numbers. Motivation for joining Citi Bank was also probed.

Third Interview - HR Round: This was a relatively brief HR interview. Discussions included the candidate's journey, family background, and reasons for interest in Citi Bank.

The candidate was delighted to receive the internship offer.
