Chubb visited the campus for a recruitment drive involving a multi-stage process.

Round 1: HackerRank Online Test
The test pattern included Section-1 with 3 Easy-Medium coding questions and Section-2 with 2 Medium coding questions, with a duration of 2 hours. Section 2 was given more weightage. All students who solved at least 3 questions were shortlisted.

Round 2: L1 Interview (Technical)
This virtual technical interview lasted 20-25 minutes. Questions included:

  • Self Introduction
  • What is Normalization? Different normalization techniques available. Necessity for normalization.
  • Different OOPs concepts available. What is Inheritance and provide a real-life example. What is Polymorphism and provide a real-life example.

  • In-depth questions on projects: Datasets used (size and sources), ML models used (why particular models), Objective and motivation, Stakeholders and requirement collection techniques.
  • Differences between bits and byte system.
  • Features, techniques, structuring, designing, and requirement analysis for full-stack web development projects (if applicable).
  • Hobbies.
