Experience:

The candidate participated in the Chubb campus drive for the Technology Associate Program, which consisted of four rounds.

Round 1: HackerRank Test
This round was a coding challenge divided into two sections. Section one had three relatively straightforward questions, while section two presented two more complex problems. Success in section two significantly boosted chances of advancing. The candidate tackled three questions from section one and one and a half from section two, qualifying for the next stage.

Section 1:

  • Maximize Count of Pairs (i, j) from Two Arrays
  • Instance Counter Class
  • Reduce String to Minimum Length
Section 2:
  • Length of the Longest Subsequence such that XOR of Adjacent Elements is Equal to K
  • Rearrange a Linked List such that all Even and Odd Positioned Nodes are Together

Round 2: L1 - Technical Interview
This virtual technical interview lasted approximately 30 minutes with two panel members. Questions covered Database Management Systems (DBMS), Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), full-stack development, and data engineering. Inquiries about language syntax and projects on the resume were also made. Behavioral questions were part of the discussion. The interview level was intermediate, and the candidate successfully cleared this round.

Round 3: L2 Interview
This round was conducted virtually with five panel members and lasted around 20 minutes, posing a higher difficulty than the L1 interview. The focus was on projects mentioned in the resume, requiring in-depth knowledge of utilized technologies. Questions about internship experience and HR-related inquiries were also part of the session. The candidate did not clear this round.

Final Round: Discussion with Head of Chubb
Despite not clearing the L2 round, the candidate had an insightful and informal discussion with the head of Chubb, further assessing fit for the program.
