Detailed experience
First they introduced themselves, then I introduced myself. After that some resume based questions were there from experiences and projects. If you have mentioned any metrics in your resume like achieved 95% accuracy or optimized by 25%, etc. then so many cross questions will be there like how you got to know that it is optimized by 25%, on how many users it was tested, etc. They will be seeing your projects live, so it's good if they're deployed. After that they asked, what is ION and why do you want to join? Then some behavioural question on leadership qualities, like if you ever worked in team how you lead them? After that they gave me system design ques, it was like: " you are given a fixed-capacity cache. perform read and writes in constant time. When the cache is full, least recent request must be evicted. Each entry also contains Time-to-live: after it's TTL, that entry must not be returned. " Also, they said explain various entities involved, relationship between them, make the classes, etc. I guess they were not happy with my metric based answers from resume, so while I was asking clarifying questions on this problem statement, they just said assume whatever you think should be there. In the meanwhile, they asked questions like what is cache, what is TTL? what is difference btw LRU and LFU? how requests are fetched? why is cache faster? why is it required? To conclude, know each and everything mentioned on resume, specially if you've mentioned any metrics numerically. And speak only things where you are confident, don't use jargon words, they can create cross question from anything you speak.
