Detailed experience

Round 1 — Project Discussion + DSA (Online) Duration: ~45–50 minutes Started with a short self-introduction while the interviewer scanned my resume. While going through my projects, he asked about the third-party service I had integrated — its workflow and how my backend server communicates with it. DSA 1: Generate all valid parentheses given N opening and N closing braces. Coded it live on an online IDE, ran it, and explained the logic smoothly. DSA 2: Rotting Oranges (LeetCode 994) — wording was slightly different but the underlying problem was the same. Coded and explained the logic fairly well. Round ended with the standard "do you have any questions for me?" Round 2 — Project-Heavy + DSA (Offline) Duration: ~40–45 minutes Asked for an introduction and a brief overview of my projects. Follow-up questions on the technical skills listed on my resume — favorite frameworks, libraries, programming languages, and reasons for choosing them. Deep dive into a major project: the AI matching pipeline I had implemented. He posed several failure scenarios and asked me to suggest alternatives. Questioned the novelty of the project — an area where I felt my answers could have been stronger. Asked about my approach to the OA questions. Followed up on Round 1's second DSA question (Rotting Oranges) — asked for pseudocode and approach this time. Design question: Implement a custom stack with basic operations (push, pop, top) plus a getMax() method returning the current maximum element. First attempt: multiset + stack solution — this increased the complexity of the basic operations, so the interviewer wasn't satisfied and asked for an optimization. Arrived at the two-stack approach on the second attempt, which was what he was looking for. Round ended with the chance to ask him a question Round 3 — HR / Behavioral (Offline) Duration: ~20–25 minutes Started with a short introduction and an overview of my projects, including the thought process behind the project ideas. Asked what I knew about the company, and my opinion on the current AI boom — its pros and cons. Asked about the positions of responsibility (PORs) mentioned on my resume. Asked how I would mentally shift from college routine to corporate life, and how I'd handle strict deadlines. Questions on teamwork and conflict resolution, including a personal experience. Asked about the most influential mentor in my life. Ended with a question I was expected to ask her
