Round 1: Technical Interview The interview started with basic SQL questions. I was asked to write SQL queries for basic operations, such as finding the maximum value and then finding the second-highest value in a table. After that, the interviewer moved on to my projects. One of my projects involved an OS scheduling algorithm, so I was asked to implement a part of it in C++, including handling the required inputs and outputs. The interview also included logical puzzles and OOPs concepts. One of the puzzles involved three bulbs inside a room and three switches outside it, where I could enter the room only once and had to determine which switch corresponded to which bulb. For OOPs, I was asked questions such as how to identify examples of OOP concepts in the surrounding environment, what abstraction means, and other related fundamental concepts. Round 2: Object-Oriented Design This round primarily focused on designing a Library Management System using OOP principles. I was asked to explain the overall design and structure of the system, including defining different classes for books, students, and other relevant entities. I also had to explain how different OOP principles, such as encapsulation, inheritance, abstraction, and polymorphism, could be applied to the design. Round 3: HR Interview The final round consisted of around 5–6 basic HR questions, mainly focused on behavioural situations and self-reflection. Some of the questions included: Tell me about a time when you felt you were losing or failing. How did you handle yourself in that situation? Describe a situation where you faced a conflict within your team. How did you manage the disagreement and balance different perspectives? Other similar questions focused on teamwork, handling challenges, and personal experiences.
