I appeared for the Accenture recruitment drive at IIT BHU for a software engineering role. The overall process had an assessment, coding, communication, and a final interview round. The exact structure can vary across campuses, but reported Accenture campus drives commonly follow this pattern. The initial assessment covered aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, networking, cloud/security fundamentals, MS Office, and pseudocode. After clearing it, I moved to the coding round, where I had to solve two relatively easy problems. The questions were mainly around arrays, strings, and basic mathematics. The communication round was conducted online and tested areas such as sentence arrangement, reading, pronunciation, and responses to basic situations. It was more about communication ability than technical knowledge. The final interview was the most important part for me. It lasted around 20–25 minutes and started with **“Tell me about yourself.”** The interviewer then asked about my projects, including the technologies I used, my individual contribution, implementation details, and problems I encountered. Some behavioral questions followed, such as **“What would you do if a team member failed to complete their task?”** and **“How would you handle a conflict within your team?”** I also prepared basic questions about OOP, DBMS, operating systems, and networking because these topics frequently appear in Accenture technical interviews. Overall, the interview was conversational, with more emphasis on my projects, communication, and fundamentals than on advanced DSA. I received the selection confirmation afterward.
