Cashfree Payments conducted its drive in the 1st week of August 2022. The author was selected for the SDE Internship role.

Round 1: Coding Assessment

This round consisted of 2 coding questions and 10 MCQs. The DSA questions were of medium level. One question was based on Stack, to reduce a string by removing K consecutive identical characters. The second question was to find the minimum operations required to segregate all zeros at the end of an array. The MCQs were based on Data Structures, SQL, puzzles, and comprehension.

Round 2: Technical - 1 hr

After introductions, the interviewer directly moved to coding questions on the HackerRank platform.

Round 3: Technical - 1 hr 15 mins

This round focused on pure CS fundamental-related topics and projects. The interviewer asked to explain the last project mentioned in the resume and delved into the technologies used. Questions covered core Computer Science subjects including OS, OOP, DBMS, and some SQL-related topics.

Round 4: Technical - 20-25 mins

The interview started with an introduction, followed by a discussion of all projects one by one, including the technologies used. Internship and freelancing experiences were also discussed.

Round 5: HR Round - 20 mins

This was an eliminating HR round. The author was selected and received the offer on the morning of August 6th.
