I appeared for the Accenture Associate Software Engineer hiring process through my college campus. The first round was a cognitive and technical assessment with around 90 questions in 90 minutes. It covered aptitude, logical and verbal reasoning, pseudocode, networking, cloud/security and basic MS Office concepts. The difficulty was mostly easy to moderate. After clearing that round, I immediately moved to the coding assessment. There were two coding questions with around 45 minutes. The questions were mainly basic DSA and implementation based. I focused on getting both solutions correct rather than trying to overcomplicate them. The next round was the communication assessment. It included reading and repeating sentences, listening-based questions, arranging sentences and speaking on a given topic. This round was relatively straightforward, but I made sure to speak clearly and avoid background noise. Recent campus experiences describe this round as non-eliminating, although its score can still be part of the overall evaluation. The final interview lasted around 15–20 minutes. The interviewer started with my introduction and then went through my resume. Most of the discussion was around my projects, the technologies I had used, challenges I faced and my individual contribution. I was also asked a few HR and situational questions about teamwork, strengths, career plans and handling conflicts. Similar recent interviews have focused heavily on projects rather than difficult DSA questions. After waiting for the final results, I received confirmation that I had been **selected for the Accenture ASE role**.
