Experience:

This on-campus interview process at CDK Global consisted of six rounds.

Round 1: Objective Type Test
This round was conducted on the Mettl assessment platform. Out of 234 students, 27 were selected for the next round.

Round 2: Group Discussion (GD)
The group discussion round was held in three groups. The topic given to the candidate's group was "What do we need Smarter cities or Better villages". From this round, 7 out of 27 students were selected.

Round 3: Technical Round (Easy)
This round was described as "quiet easy". Questions included:

• Finding the missing integer in a list of n-1 integers ranging from 1 to n, with no duplicates.
• Basic questions related to graphs.
• Questions on OOPS concepts such as polymorphism and inheritance.
• Some database-related questions.

Out of 7 students, 4 were selected to proceed.

Round 4: Technical Round
This round involved a long discussion (about 20-25 minutes) on the candidate's minor and major projects. From this round, 3 out of 7 students were selected.

Round 5: Managerial Round (by VP)
This round was conducted by the VP of the organization. Questions included:

• Further basic questions on graphs.
• A classic logic puzzle: "You are a prisoner in a room with 2 doors and 2 guards. One of the doors will guide you to freedom and behind the other is a hangman --you don't know which is which. One of the guards always tells the truth and the other always lies. You don't know which one is the truth-teller or the liar either. You have to choose and open one of these doors, but you can only ask a single question to one of the guards."
• A variation of the Josephus problem: "100 people standing in a circle in an order 1 to 100. No. 1 has a sword. He kills the next person (i.e. No. 2) and gives the sword to the next (i.e. No. 3). All people do the same until only 1 survives. Which number survives at the last?"
• Discussion on major projects.
• Personal questions about family and hobbies.

Round 6: HR Round (Non-eliminating)
This final round was non-eliminating and focused on general HR questions and family background. The candidate was also given a form to choose their preferred location (Pune/Hyderabad).

Overall Experience: The candidate was selected and is now working in the CDK Global Pune office.
