The interview started with a brief introduction, followed by a completely DSA-focused round. The first question was the **Book Allocation Problem**, which was based on **Binary Search on Answer**. I was asked to first explain my approach, followed by the time complexity. I then had to perform a dry run of the solution on the given sample test case using an online notepad and, finally, write the pseudocode. Next, the interviewer asked about the **internal implementation of `set`**. Rather than discussing the standard library implementation, he asked how I would build a set from scratch. I was expected to explain the basic functionalities required for a set, provide a complete implementation, and discuss its time complexity in both the best- and worst-case scenarios. After that, I was given another DSA problem, which I unfortunately do not remember clearly. It was not a standard problem and was related to the implementation and concepts of a set. Unfortunately, I was not able to clear this round and proceed to the second round.
