The 1st round of interview was 1 hour long. ### Interview Experience – Round 1 The first round was a mix of **technical, DSA, and behavioral questions**. For the first **30 minutes**, the interviewer focused heavily on my **previous internship project and the technologies I had worked with**. I was asked detailed questions about **Apache Kafka**, including why it is used, how it works, its practical use cases, and several scenario-based questions such as what would happen in a particular situation and how I would handle it. After that, I was given **one DSA problem** based on **Greedy + Arrays + Circular Traversal**. The problem was around **LeetCode Medium** level. I was able to come up with an **O(n²)** solution and explained the time and space complexity. We also discussed how the solution could potentially be optimized further. The round ended with a **behavioral question based on leadership principles**. I was asked to describe a situation where either **I or a friend/team member was stuck while solving a problem**, and what I did to help overcome the issue independently. Overall, the round focused not just on getting the correct answer, but also on **understanding the technologies mentioned in my resume, problem-solving approach, optimization, and real-world decision-making**.
