# Sigmoid DE+SDE Interview Experience I recently appeared for the **Sigmoid DE+SDE** interview process. The interview consisted of **one technical round of around 1 hour**. ### Technical Round The interviewer asked questions from **DSA and DBMS**, along with a discussion about the role. #### DSA I was asked the following questions: *Median of Two Sorted Arrays** *Breadth First Search (BFS)** *Find the Maximum Element in an Array** The interviewer asked me to explain my approach and discuss the complexity of the solutions. #### DBMS The DBMS questions were mainly based on core concepts: *1NF and 2NF** *ACID properties** *SQL Joins and different types of joins** The questions were mostly conceptual and tested my understanding of the fundamentals. ### Role Discussion Towards the end of the interview, we discussed the **D+SDE role** and the nature of the opportunity. The position involved a **6-month internship**, with an **FTE opportunity** associated with it. ### Overall Experience The interview lasted around **1 hour** and covered a combination of DSA and core CS fundamentals. The questions were straightforward, but I realized that having a strong understanding of **DSA, DBMS, and SQL fundamentals** is important for the DE+SDE role. Overall, it was a good learning experience.
