JPMC's SEP hiring happened on our campus and the process started with the coding/assessment round. I managed to clear the initial stage and then received the HireVue round. The HireVue was mostly about behavioral and situational questions. I got questions around teamwork, handling challenges, communication and why I wanted to join JPMC. Since it was recorded, managing the time and getting the answer across clearly was probably the trickiest part. After HireVue, we had to wait for the final Code for Good on-site shortlist. That's where things didn't go my way. Only one person from our college was selected for the on-site CFG hackathon, and I wasn't the one. It was definitely a bit frustrating after making it through the earlier stages, but overall it was a good learning experience. The main thing I took away was that getting through the assessment doesn't guarantee the CFG shortlist — the final selection can get very competitive.
