JPMC came to our college for the SEP Intern hiring process. The process started with an online coding round, followed by the HireVue interview. I managed to get through these stages and was waiting for the final shortlist for the Code for Good on-site hackathon. The coding round was mainly DSA-based, with problems around arrays, strings and other standard problem-solving concepts. I was able to perform reasonably well and got the HireVue invite. The HireVue round had recorded behavioral questions. There wasn't an interviewer on the other side, so I had to prepare and record my answers within the given attempts. The questions were mostly around teamwork, handling situations and future goals. After completing HireVue, the final CFG shortlist was released. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the on-site hackathon. What made it a little disappointing was that only one student from our college made it to the on-site CFG. I was hoping to be that one, but couldn't make the final shortlist. Still, reaching the final shortlist stage was a good experience. It also gave me a better idea of how competitive the JPMC CFG process can get, especially when the final number of students selected from a college is very small.
