Experience:

The candidate participated in an on-campus placement drive for Accenture. The process involved four rounds.

Round 1: Online Aptitude and Technical Test. This round consisted of approximately 70-80 questions covering verbal reasoning, cloud computing, computer networks, and general aptitude. This round was successfully cleared, leading to the next stage.

Round 2: Coding Round. Two relatively straightforward coding tasks were given. The questions were: "Check if a given number is a prime number" and "Given a string, return a new string formatted as the first character + length of the string + the last character". The candidate completed these in about 3-4 minutes and cleared this round.

Round 3: Online Communication Test (Non-Elimination). This round assessed communication skills through tasks such as repeating sentences, speaking on a given topic for two minutes, and finding errors in sentences. This was a non-elimination round, so all candidates proceeded to the next stage.

Round 4: Interview. The interview was scheduled for 10:00 AM but started promptly at 9:46 AM after the candidate joined at 9:45 AM. The interviewer began by asking about the candidate's projects, which allowed for a self-introduction and discussion of work, including research projects, patents, and extracurricular activities. Leadership experience as a college club president and involvement in over 20 hackathons (winning two) were also highlighted. Mentoring students in Atal Tinkering Labs was also mentioned. The interview was conversational, with the interviewer smiling throughout and asking a few random questions. The candidate asked 3-4 questions when given the opportunity, demonstrating interest. The interview lasted about 25-30 minutes.

Overall Experience: The candidate was not selected, although 265 students from the college were. The experience taught the candidate that effort is important, but the final result is not always controllable, emphasizing the need to stay motivated.
