Online Test: A one-hour test with 5 easy DS and Algo MCQs and 3 coding questions (20, 30, and 50 points). The 20 and 30-point questions were of moderate difficulty, and the 50-point question was hard.

  • 20 points question: Given an excel sheet with 702 cells per row, numbered sequentially, find the row and column given N. Columns were A, B, ..., Z, AA, ... ZZ.
  • 30 points question: Given an array of numbers, replace some numbers such that each integer is unique and the overall sum of the array is minimum, then return the sum.
  • 50 points question: Given a graph where edges exist between u and v if gcd(u, v) > K, then given source and destination arrays, return an array marking if a path exists.

Only 2 people who solved the 20 and 30-point questions completely and the 50-point question partially were shortlisted.

Technical Interview (Skype-based): The interviewer asked questions related to Data Structures and Algorithms. There was also a discussion about projects and the company's technology stack.

Technical Interview (CEO Round): This round was conducted by the CEO.

  • He presented an efficient elevator designing problem and asked the candidate to come up with a design.
  • A discussion about how Torrent works.
  • Further discussion related to projects and some general questions.
