Date: 22 August 2026 Company: InMobi Position: Software Engineer Rounds: 2 Round 1 – Coding + CS Fundamentals: The first round consisted mainly of DSA and coding. Questions were asked from arrays, strings, hash maps, stacks/queues, recursion, and basic dynamic programming. I was expected to explain the solution before writing the code and discuss the time and space complexity. The interviewer also asked fundamentals from OOPs, DBMS, and operating systems. Round 2 – Project + Technical: The second round focused heavily on my projects. I was asked to explain the architecture, my role in the team, implementation details, challenges, and how the project could be scaled or improved. Questions from SQL, DBMS, OS, networking, and OOPs were also asked. A practical situation was given where I had to explain how I would debug a problem in a real application. Overall Experience: The interview was a good combination of coding ability and practical technical knowledge. The project discussion was detailed, so having complete understanding of the project was very important.
