interviewer first introduced himself anf then asked me to introduce myself. then, he asked me to explain one of my projects from my resume. he then explained me that this round is going to test my full stack development skills and asked if i was okay with it since all the projects in my resume were AI related projects. i said i had some exposure to backend development. he then encouraged me that we can sort it out using AI. Interviewer then shared a github repo and sent a link which allowed me to access a IDE similar to VScode. it already has a code for restaurant dish management website. the interviewer first showed the website, its features and how it works and then asked me to go through the code for 10 minutes and talk out what i was thinking so that he can understand my thinking process. then he asked me to implement "Add a new dish" feature. he first asked me what all chnanges need to be done in the frontend and backend. after satisfying, he asked me to write code and helped me little in the process. after 1 hr 45 min, my interview was finished and after 20 min, i found out that out of 7 people who got shortlisted to first round, i was the only one who got shortlisted to 2nd round. 2nd round was about low level design(LLD). In this round, interviewer asked me to open a note taking app and asked me to design a parking lot management system. i had explained that i dont have much exposure in LLD, so he asked me what entities and functions i would implement in this design. so, he asked me questions on how i would implement those and which data structures i would use. he then asked me about SOLID principles and then asked me to explain one of my projects and then asked some indepth questions from that project. it was a 1hr interview. even though i was the only one who got shortlisted to this round. they didnt shortlist me to the managerial round.
