Experience:

This experience describes Robert Bosch's campus recruitment for the 2023 batch of CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE students. Eligibility required 60% or 6 CGPA in B.Tech.

Round 1: Online Assessment
This round was held on June 21st and consisted of MCQs and one coding question of easy-medium difficulty. The MCQs covered general aptitude, verbal, and logical reasoning. Approximately 50% of the students cleared this round.

A pre-placement talk, called "BGSW Day," was conducted on June 25th, which was very engaging and recommended to attend.

Round 2: Online Interview
The interview took place two days after the pre-placement talk (around June 27th). For this candidate, there was no HR round, though it can occur for some campuses or off-campus applications. As a CSE student, the interview covered:

  • Self-introduction.
  • Detailed questions on mentioned projects.
  • OOPs concepts like inheritance and polymorphism with their real-life uses.
  • Software testing types.
  • SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) lifecycle.
  • One easy-level coding question.
  • Opportunity for the candidate to ask questions (prepared with at least 2 good questions).
The overall experience was positive, with polite and supportive interviewers.

Tips: Be clear with core subjects like OOPs, DBMS, Software Engineering, and Computer Networks. Be thorough with your projects. Coding level is not difficult. Remain calm and answer honestly.
