This experience details a campus recruitment process by Bosch Global Software Technologies.

Round 1: Online Test (HirePro Platform)
The online test had a duration of 100 to 120 minutes and was audio and video proctored. It was divided into four sections: Aptitude, Technical, Coding (2 questions), and C/C++ specific questions. Navigation between sections was not allowed, but navigation between questions within a section was permitted. All questions were mandatory.

Round 2: Technical Round
The technical interview began with "Tell me about yourself." The candidate was asked to explain all their projects, followed by a question about their 5-year career vision. Core technical questions included:

  • Difference between structure and union.
  • Difference between pointer to array and array of pointers.
  • What is a function pointer?
  • Difference between C and C++.
  • What are the 4 pillars of OOPs (polymorphism, inheritance)?
  • Difference between linear and binary search.
  • Quick sort implementation.
  • Difference between microcontroller and microprocessor.
Coding questions involved printing a star pattern and finding a substring in a string both using pointers and without pointers. Puzzles like "3 room 3 switches" and "measure 4 liters" were also asked.

Round 3: HR Round
The HR round covered standard questions such as "Tell me about yourself," family background, 5-year vision, and questions about projects (which project was close and why, what was learned). Hobbies, readiness to work in any location, and encouraging new ideas were also discussed. The candidate was also given an opportunity to ask questions.

Suggestions: Be thorough with OOPS, CN (Computer Networks), and basic COA definitions. Know all technologies used in your projects. Be confident, honest, and prepare good questions to ask the interviewer.
