This candidate was selected for the BTSA role on-campus.

Round 1 (Online Assessment - 59 Questions | 6 Sections | 52 Minutes):

  • **Section 1: Reasoning Ability (25 Questions | 5 min):** Fast-paced, questions on series, alphabetic patterns, mirror images, overlapping images.
  • **Section 2: Analytical Ability and Problem Solving (8 Questions | 8 min):** Questions on directions, encoding/decoding, blood relations, Venn diagrams.
  • **Section 3: Unstructured Problem Solving (2 Questions | 14 min):** Toughest section. Involved guessing a number in a range based on a case study with 12-15 data points, requiring filtering relevant data.
  • **Section 4: Numerical Ability (8 Questions | 8 min):** Questions on Probability, Permutation, Sets, Profit/Loss, Simple and Compound Interest.
  • **Section 5: Critical Thinking (8 Questions | 12 min):** Inferring insights from options after reading paragraphs.
  • **Section 6: Verbal Ability (8 Questions | 5 min):** Questions on Tenses, Fill in the blanks, jumbled sentences, error correction, paragraph rephrasing.

Round 2 (Online Assessment - Verbal Assessment):

  • **Section 1:** Reading and recording multiple statements/audio clips (some 16 seconds long, played once).
  • **Section 2:** Given a topic on the spot, 1:45 min to think, then speak for 60 seconds.
  • **Section 3:** Paragraph played once, followed by MCQs and fill-in-the-blanks.

Round 3 (Online Technical Assessment - 60 min for 3 sections): This was a major eliminatory round.

  • **Section 1 (MCQ based on SQL):** Not specified detail, but general SQL MCQs.
  • **Section 2 (Programming Question):** 1 LeetCode Easy-Medium question. C++, Java, Python were mentioned as allowed languages, but C++ was not available during the test.
  • **Section 3 (Writing SQL query):** 2 SQL queries, mostly on JOINS, Pattern Matching, GROUP BY clause. Also basic query debugging questions based on DROP, SELECT, GROUP BY, Aggregate and Window Functions.

Round 4 (Technical + HR): This 1-hour interview was with a BTS manager.

  • Questions around Guesstimate, SQL, Hackathon attended and problems solved during it.
  • Project discussion focusing on database aspects.
  • Previous Internship experience.
  • Managerial Questions, understanding of BTSA role, situation-based questions, team-based questions, handling and solving event-related problems.
