This candidate applied for a Winter Software Engineer Intern role off-campus via referral in December 2024.

Round 1: Online Coding Test

• 3 DSA questions: medium, medium, and medium-hard level. The candidate completed all three questions.

Round 2: Technical Case Study Round

• Held on HackerEarth.
• Question: Shifting room items to another place with two vehicles (small and big) and items categorized as small and big. Determine parameters needed to shift all items with minimum turns.
• After discussion, the interviewer provided existing code and asked the candidate to understand and explain it.
• Discussion on mathematical equations defining vehicle and item relations.
• Candidate was asked to modify the code as it wasn't returning the desired output, which they did.

Round 3: Managerial and HR Round

• Scheduled for December 3rd, then rescheduled to December 5th due to a major project evaluation.
• On the morning of December 5th, the recruiter mentioned the "Panel is sick" and would reschedule.
• The candidate was subsequently ghosted and received no further communication.
