Warner Bros. Discovery visited for on-campus hiring for a summer intern position. There were a total of 4 rounds, with the first being a shortlisting online assessment, and the subsequent three rounds continuous without elimination.

1st Round: Online Assessment

This round consisted of 25 questions. 5 questions required a video response covering general topics like self-introduction, motivation for joining, favorite shows, potential contributions, and familiar technologies/frameworks. The remaining 20 questions were multiple-choice, focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Operating Systems (OS).

2nd Round: Technical Round

The interview started with "Tell us about yourself." Two interviewers were present. A question related to recommending shows on an OTT platform was asked, focusing on an approach with very little time and good space complexity. Concepts of caching, memory utilization, and databases for this problem were also discussed. The round lasted for approximately 30-45 minutes.

3rd Round: Technical and Managerial Round

This round began with the manager asking about the candidate and then discussing Round 2's questions, aiming for a more efficient solution. Questions about projects and the approach used to complete them were also asked.

4th Round: People and Culture Round

This round focused on learning about the candidate's approach to work, looking for excitement. Questions included: "Tell about one of your favorite projects, how did you manage to complete it. Did you go for teamwork? Have you been a leader?" The interviewer also inquired about preferred location. The candidate received a job offer the next day.
