The process for the Full-time SDE role at UBS began with registration on October 16, 2023, attracting around 4500 applicants.

Round 1: Online Assessment Round
Scheduled for October 17, 2023, this round saw 876 students shortlisted, likely based on CGPA and branch. It consisted of 50 MCQs on OS, DBMS, DSA, Aptitude, and Puzzles, with an easy-moderate difficulty. The DSA coding question was based on a monotonic stack: "Given a string s, remove duplicate letters so that every letter appears once and only once. The result should be the smallest in lexicographical order among all possible results." Out of 900 students, 40 were shortlisted for the next round, with results declared on October 18.

Round 2: Technical Interview
The online interview was held on October 19, 2023, with two interviewers (a Director and an Associate Director) who were described as friendly. The interview started with an introduction, followed by detailed questions about the candidate's projects (e.g., Music.AI, DOC-UDI using Node.js/Express.js, React.js, Redis, Flutter, Express, MongoDB, Python) and previous internships, including roles and tech stacks used. The interviewers expressed satisfaction with the candidate's introduction and projects. Behavioral questions were also asked in this round.

Round 3: Hiring Manager Call
On October 20, the candidate received a call from the hiring manager. This round involved questions about previous experiences, tech stack, and willingness to relocate. It was a brief 4-5 minute call for confirmation. The final selection names were mailed on October 21, with 17 candidates selected.
