The candidate, a final year Computer Science and Engineering student, shared their experience for a UBS placement drive.

Round 1: Online Test
This round was conducted on October 17, 2023, and shortlisted 850 students from CSC branches. It consisted of Aptitude MCQs, Technical MCQs, and one coding question. The coding question was described as medium to hard level but manageable, and passing all test cases was not strictly necessary to qualify.

Round 2: Technical Interview
Around 40 people were shortlisted for this round, which took place on October 19, 2023. The interview panel consisted of two interviewers. The interview started with an introduction and basic questions. Since the candidate had a Java background, questions focused on OOPs, Data Structures & Algorithms, and DBMS. The interviewer also asked about the differences between Java and Python, and where each would be more applicable. Scenario-based questions on web services and APIs were also posed, such as how to call data dynamically. The interview lasted for about an hour, and the interviewer also explained the intern's journey for the first six months.
