Experience:

This recruitment process for the Regular Coder role consisted of two main rounds.

Round 1: Aptitude Round (Online Assessment - 180 minutes)
This assessment covered various categories: Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal, Communication, Programming Logic, and Coding. For the Regular Coder role, there were 4 coding questions, and an additional 3 coding questions for the Power Coder role. The candidate solved all MCQs, 3 coding questions from the regular coder section, and 1 coding question from the power coder section. A total of 175 candidates applied, and 33 were shortlisted for further rounds.

Round 2: Technical Interview
An email for selection to the Regular Coder role was received the day after the online test. During the technical interview, the interviewer first asked for an introduction. Questions focused on:

  • "Why do you prefer Python?"
  • "Explain the use of decorators in Python."
  • "Explain the process of exception handling in Python."
  • "Difference between C++ and Python."
  • "Explain the concept of object-oriented programming (OOP)?"
  • "How does OOP differ from procedural programming?"
  • "What is polymorphism and its types?"
  • "What is a data structure and name some data structures you know?"
  • "What is Linked list and its types?"
  • Coding question: "Write code to reverse the string."

At the end, the interviewer asked, "Do you have any questions?"
