The recruitment process consisted of 4 rounds, starting with resume shortlisting.

Online Assessment Round: This round was held on July 21, 2023, and included MCQs and coding questions. The MCQs covered concepts from C, C++, Java, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks. The coding section had 3 questions:

• Sort and find the middle element.
• Fibonacci with a twist.
• Replacements and anagrams (similar to finding minimum manipulations for anagrams).

Although the questions seemed easy, they had edge cases that none of the candidates were able to fully clear. Only 6 students were shortlisted for the next rounds.

Round 1: Technical Interview: This virtual interview took place on July 27, 2023. It began with an introduction, followed by a detailed discussion of the candidate's projects. Significant emphasis was placed on the most important project, which involved blockchain, leading to questions from basic to advanced blockchain concepts. Further questions covered OOP, Java, OS, Computer Networks, and DSA (trees, arrays, linked lists, strings). The round concluded with a puzzle. The difficulty level was easy to moderate.

Round 2: Technical Interview: Held on the same day as Round 1, this round featured questions similar to Round 1 but with significantly higher complexity, ranging from moderate to very difficult. Topics included blockchain, cybersecurity, OOP, Java, OS, Computer Networks, and DSA. More emphasis was given to Java, OS, CN, and projects, testing in-depth understanding.

HR Interview: This round was held on July 31, 2023. Questions focused on company knowledge, understanding of the corporate world, and discussions about the role and life at Versa. The final result was declared on August 1, 2023, and the candidate was selected.
