Experience:

The candidate was approached by an HR from LinkedIn via email and LinkedIn message for an AI intern position. After CV shortlisting, an interview was confirmed via Zoom. The interviewer was described as nice and polite. The interview started with an introduction, followed by questions about the candidate's college and Machine Learning projects, including details about datasets and algorithms used. A coding interview was conducted on 'coderpad', where the interviewer observed and asked about the candidate's thought process while coding. The coding question was similar to LeetCode's "Find Nearest Point That Has the Same X or Y Coordinate". Post-coding, more Machine Learning topics were discussed, such as the difference between Supervised and Unsupervised learning. The interviewer was surprised to learn the candidate was in their first semester and provided some suggestions at the end. The overall experience was positive.
