Experience:

This interview experience for Atos was an on-campus drive held in March 2021. The process started with a company presentation (PPT) covering company aspects, role description, and CTC.

Round 1: Online Test (Proctored)
The online test was conducted on the Mettl platform for 1 hour. It consisted of multiple-choice questions covering aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic technical C/C++ questions (trees, OOPS, array, etc.). Questions were mostly simple, with some of moderate level. There was no negative marking, and each round was an elimination round.

Round 2: Interview Round
This round was conducted on Microsoft Teams and lasted for 45 minutes. The interviewer asked about general OOPS concepts, then switched to Operating Systems, covering topics like cache, multi-core architecture, multi-programming, and the difference between process and thread. Basic DBMS questions were asked, such as how to write update queries. The candidate was also asked to write a C or C++ program for reversing a string and to explain the logic for inserting an element at a specific position in an array. HTML questions included basic tags, the iframe tag, syntax of the img tag, and the difference between <tr>, <td>, <th> tags.

Round 3: Interview Round
This 30-minute round was more conceptual. Questions included encryption, how to secure a database, public and private keys, how they work, TCP and UDP protocols (and their differences), and multi-factor authentication. Some basics of JavaScript were also covered.

Round 4: HR Round
This round was a phone call where HR discussed the previous rounds, the role in the company, and the training period. The next day, results were declared, and the candidate was selected.

The tip given was to be clear with concepts and programming logic.
