Topics Asked: API, Java (Multithreading, Java 8 features, Exception Handling, OOPS, Deadlock prevention), Data Structures & Algorithms (Sorting algorithms, Linked List types, Circular Doubly Linked List).

Experience:

Bajaj Finserv visited the campus on August 3, 2022, with almost 2000+ students shortlisted for the first round.

Round 1 (API): Candidates were given a task related to API, which had to be completed within 2 hours. 995 students were shortlisted for the next round.

Round 2 (Coding + Tech): This round took place on the same day. For the Microservices (Java) domain, there were 12 MCQs and 2 coding questions. The MCQs included finding the output of Java code (4 questions), aptitude (4 questions), and general Java questions (4 questions). The coding questions were easy to moderate. One coding question was similar to "Minimize length of a string by removing suffixes and prefixes of same characters". The candidate was able to solve one coding question and was shortlisted for the technical interview.

Round 3 (Technical Interview): Approximately 350 students were shortlisted for this round. The interview began with an introduction, followed by questions about the candidate's comfortable technical language (Java). Java-related questions included multithreading, features of Java 8, exception handling, OOPS, and deadlock prevention. Data Structures and Algorithms questions covered sorting algorithms (naming and explaining one), types of linked lists, and circular doubly linked lists. A coding question was also asked to solve: "Move zeroes to end of array". The candidate was eliminated after this round.

Round 4 (HR Round): (Based on information from friends) This was a telephonic HR round with simple HR-based questions.
